Our Reach This Season
How your support helped bring warmth and hope across Northeast Ohio.
Each winter, The Sub Zero Mission mobilizes its volunteers, buses, and community partners to reach people living outside across Northeast Ohio. From tents and riverbanks to underpasses and street corners, we deliver the five core warming items — hats, coats, gloves, boots, and sleeping bags — directly to those who need them most.
This season, our teams completed 32 missions, distributing more than 28,584 essential warming items and helping an estimated 1,318 individuals stay safe through the coldest months of the year.
Every delivery represents the compassion of our donors and the dedication of our volunteers, all working toward one shared promise: nobody should freeze to death in America.

The Sub Zero Mission operates throughout Northeast Ohio, with missions reaching cities such as Cleveland, Lorain, Elyria, Ashtabula, Conneaut, Painesville, Mentor, and beyond. Each year our reach expands as new partners host collection drives, Stuff the Bus events, and neighborhood drop-off points.
Through this network, we’re able to deliver warmth quickly and consistently wherever the need is greatest. Your continued support keeps our buses rolling and our mission growing.
