About Ron Marotto
Ron Marotto is passionate about his causes. He has been active with both the Summit County and the Ohio Developmental Disabilities communities for all his adult life, serving on many boards and committees.
He is a past board member of the NEO American Diabetes Association and Business Volunteers Unlimited. He also served as a board member and Chair for Walsh Jesuit High School, and has contributed to committees for Youth Opportunities Unlimited (YOU), Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cleveland, ECity, and Breakthrough Schools.
Ron has driven fundraising and capital improvement projects for Purple Hearts Homes, Waterloo Arts District, Rebuilding Together, End 68 Hours of Hunger of Lake County, Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Cleveland, Hitchcock Center for Women, The Sub Zero Mission, and many others.
A Northeast Ohio native, Ron grew up in Akron and Cuyahoga Falls and now resides in Hudson. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Akron. Married to JeriLynn for over 43 years, he is a father of three and grandfather to five.
